Christopher Hall

FOUNDER/director

Christopher Hall was raised just outside the fence of the Fox backlot in West LA and has been slowly trying to climb his way inside the studio system ever since. Since graduating from Kenyon College with a BA in Theater where he won the acclaimed Paul Newman Award for Acting, Chris began his entertainment career in production on THE SOPRANOS, then in VFX on huge movies like THE MATRIX: REVOLUTIONS and CONSTANTINE. He took a job as assistant to Director Breck Eisner, where he found the script for the 2009 horror sleeper hit THE CRAZIES, a remake of the George Romero classic, which grossed $55 million worldwide. Chris soon transitioned into directing his own work and has built a diverse portfolio of both commercial and narrative work.

Chris was the first in-house director at Fullscreen, a major digital production company that was acquired by AT&T. Over the course of three years, he directed over 50 branded videos that cumulatively have hundreds of millions of views. He has since worked with a host of other major production companies including 72&Sunny, Hecho, Rauxa, Wild Card, The Collective, Shareability, and Magical Elves. He wrote the pilot and directed three seasons of the hit horror webseries FIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD (10+ million views) which was picked up by YouTube Red and became one of their most successful attempts at premium content.

In 2020, his comedy short film BRYERS CUCUMBER TOSTINOS premiered, about a man-boy stranded at the local corner store, still waiting for his mom to come pick him up. Starring Patrick Tamisiea and legendary character actor Kevin Pollak, the film went on a tour of over 40 film festivals around the country and won numerous shiny plastic trophies. In 2022, he directed another comedy short, THE PERFECT FIRST DATE, that has performed at the Sherman Oaks Film Festival, the Newport Beach Film Festival, and at the 2023 Austin Revolution Film Festival.

Over a career that stretches across film, television and digital, Chris has worked with a cross section of some of Hollywood’s most fascinating characters, including actors Keanu Reeves, James Gandolfini, Timothy Olyphant, and Padma Lakshmi, and writers like Stuart Beattie, David Self, and Bill Mastrosimone.

His commercial work includes branded videos for Amazon, Instagram, Google, AT&T, Jellysmack, and FIGS.

Chris lives in Los Angeles with his wife, Davida, and their two young children, Roxanne and Quincy.
